Learning is so hard !!

Since I started back studying (1 sep 2008), I realised that the level of study in France was so high (at least for me). Even though I prepared a French diploma in Mauritius, it’s difficult to keep up with the “pure” French grammar. As a matter of fact, French have a tendency to complicate things . It may sound like nonsense, but it’s the sole truth. Let’s take an example…

I have a module called “Modélisation et Outils pour le Traitement de Signal”. The literal translation in English for this module would be “Tools for Modelling and Signal Processing”. Enough blablabla, let’s come the the point. In an exercise, it was asked to calculate density to find something…and the term they used for density was “Masse volumétrique“, that is volumetric mass. People who have a minimum of physics knowledge would guess that the question referred to density…So, why used volumetric mass instead of density then ??

This was an easy example, and there are many that are more difficult to read through, unless you’re French.
That’s not all…as I have always mentioned that I am lazy…but I did not say that I loved having fun. Students in France love to party, and me too. I noticed that during these 2months, I spent most of my time having fun, even in class

So it’s about time for me to wake up as the “partiels” ooops exams are approaching, otherwise failure is guaranteed !!! In addition, during the first evaluations, in had 8.5/20 in MATLAB, 10/20 in stats…and that’s no good news !!! I don’t want to fail, I don’t want to learn…sometimes I just sit and ask myself what am I longing for..and still no answer.

Well people, I’m fed up writing. I you want to help me, some comments would definitively be appreciated (OooO oui !!!)
